Bloomquist Jean is a dahlia that truly needs to be seen in person to be fully appreciated. Photographs simply cannot capture the movement and beauty of her extraordinary blooms.

When I first added this variety to the garden, I will admit I was hesitant—orange has never been my favorite color. I only planted her because so many growers spoke so highly of her. But the moment she bloomed, I completely understood the excitement.

Her large blooms are filled with beautifully curled petals in a glowing blend of peach, soft orange, and hints of pink. The petals twist and curve in every direction, giving the flower a sense of motion and fullness that makes it absolutely captivating.
