Mystery Purple Sold to me as Mom's Special

This beautiful purple dahlia produces large, eye-catching blooms around 10 inches in size with rich, saturated coloring that stands out in the garden. It is a later season bloomer, but proved to be a good and reliable producer in my garden. The blooms consistently drew attention from passersby and added a bold, striking presence to the planting.

This tuber was originally labeled as Mom’s Special, but I do not believe it to be true to type and suspect it may be a sport or mislabel. It is being offered as an unnamed variety.
